I.AM ONTARIO extends the Ice Academy of Montreal’s standard of excellence into a dynamic and growing training environment in Southwestern Ontario.

Led by Scott Moir, Head Coach and Managing Director, I.AM ONTARIO brings together elite experience, contemporary perspective, and a strong connection to the next generation of ice dancers. It is designed as a place where ambition is supported with structure, creativity, and clarity — all within the shared values of I.AM.

Since its launch in 2021, I.AM ONTARIO has grown into a focused training hub for athletes seeking high-level coaching within a collaborative and modern setting.

THE I.AM ONTARIO

I.AM ONTARIO operates in close alignment with I.AM’s main campus in Montreal, with ongoing collaboration across coaching, choreography, and performance development. Knowledge, methodology, and experience are shared intentionally between locations, ensuring coherence while allowing each environment to develop its own identity and rhythm.

In 2022, Scott Moir was joined by Adrián Díaz and Madison Hubbell, further strengthening the coaching team with world-class competitive experience. Together, they bring Olympic, World, and European medal credentials, offering athletes direct insight into the demands of elite international competition.

Built on I.AM’s collaborative model and commitment to athlete development, I.AM ONTARIO provides a contemporary pathway for skaters ready to grow within the I.AM ecosystem.

OUR CO-FOUNDer

Scott Moir is one of the most accomplished ice dancers in the history of the sport. Competing with Tessa Virtue, he achieved an unparalleled record at the highest level of international ice dance, earning five Olympic medals, including three Olympic gold medals (2010 Ice Dance; 2018 Ice Dance and Team Event). Their career was further marked by multiple World Championship titles, Grand Prix victories, and sustained dominance across more than two decades of competition.

Following his retirement from competition, Scott transitioned into coaching and leadership, bringing a modern athlete’s perspective to high-performance training. His experience at the very top of the sport informs his work with developing and elite teams alike, with a focus on clarity, standards, and competitive readiness.

As Head Coach and Managing Director of I.AM ONTARIO, Scott contributes his experience, discipline, and insight to the broader I.AM ecosystem, supporting the next generation of ice dancers within an environment defined by excellence and collaboration.
